Harper – Female DSH

Adoption Profile:

Name: Harper
DOB: 30/10/2021
Gender: Female
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Adoption Fee: $170
Location: Alderley
Snuggle scope: Snuggly
Cat scope: Good with proper introductions
Dog scope: Untested
Child scope: Untested but should be good with older children

About:

Harper is a funny little girl, she is sweet as pie and very affectionate but has a quirky side that is very entertaining! When her foster family approaches to give her some love, she will do one of two things:
1. Happily flop and roll over onto her back to get belly rubs
2. RUN It’s unclear what she’s thinking in that little head of hers, but it sure makes for some funny happenings around the house.

Never one to sit still, she loves to play with toys and her brother, but also enjoys a cuddle on the couch until she’s decided she wants to do something else! She will chirp when you talk to her and also growl when she can hear someone coming but can’t see them. She’s never been aggressive, she’s just a bit of a firecracker once her confidence is up. She will take a few days to fully come out of her shell, and can be a bit skittish with sudden movements and loud noises, but when she is comfortable, she is a real treat.
If you are looking for a quirky kitty full of character, Harper is your girl!

Honey – Female DSH

Adoption Profile:

Name: Honey
DOB : 06/10/22
Gender : Female
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Adoption Fee: $170
Location: Caboolture
Snuggle scope: Good with pats and short cuddles, doesn’t like to be alone
Cat scope: Good with other cats
Dog scope: Good with dogs
Child scope : Great with everyone

About:

Miss Honey is a lively, intelligent girl with a zest for life. She has serious FOMO (fear of missing out) and will cry piteously if she can see people having fun without her. She is bright, confident, and adjusted well to a huge change when she came into care. She is quite independent in between cuddles, she will often run off and play, yelling ‘Look at me Mum, Dad, everyone!’.
We found that once Honey settled into our home, she maintained her love of attention and snuggles but was more able to sit still for them. Honey has a cat foster mum in Caulifla who has made the transition easier by cleaning her up and playing with her when she was unsure. Truly a very sweet girl, with a lot of growing still to do.

Jackie – Female DSH

Adoption Profile:

Name: Jackie
DOB: 03/12/2020
Gender: Female
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Adoption Fee: $170
Location: Kallangur
Snuggle scope: Super smoochy
Cat scope: Solo diva, doesn’t like other cats
Dog scope: Doesn’t like dogs and will scratch if approached by one

About:

Jackie came into care after finding herself homeless with 8 babies. She was extremely underweight and struggling to nurse such a large litter. 5 of her babies required medical intervention so went to one of our dedicated neonate carers for specialised care.
Jackie did an amazing job raising her other 3 babies and they’ve all been adopted into loving forever homes.
She is the smoochiest, friendliest cat you’ll ever meet. She will follow you around the house weaving in and out of your feet and rubbing against your legs. As soon as you sit down she’s in your lap. Of a night time she will curl up on your shoulder and purr her head off.
Jackie isn’t a fan of other cats and would be happier being a solo diva. She’s absolutely perfect with humans though and wants to be best friends with everyone she meets, and she loves children.
She really is a delightful little girl.

Location: Surfers Paradise
Snuggle scope: Both are champion snugglers
Cat scope: Jackson is protective of his sister so best suited to no other cats
Dog scope: Untested

Arizona will require this condition to be monitored at her annual health check looking for any deterioration and ongoing management especially as she ages as she will be likely to develop osteoarthritis

Jax – Male DSH

Adoption Profile:

Name: Jax
DOB: 01/07/2018
Gender: Male
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Adoption fee: $170
Location: Camp Hill
Snuggle scope: Loves attention
Cat scope: Would like his human(s) all to himself please, no other felines
Dog scope: Untested
Child scope: Untested but would be fine
MEDICAL NOTE:
Jax has FIV – FIV is a slow-progressing virus that can compromise a cat’s immune system, reducing its ability to fight off illnesses. The virus has a long latent period then progresses so slowly that it may never affect a cat. That’s why long-term studies show that FIV cats can live just as long and as healthy, and ultimately die of the same causes as Non-FIV cats.
Jax came into care with a broken Pelvis, which has now healed with correct vet care.

About:

Jax is a true little gentleman, who will escort you room to room to make sure you’re safe. He enjoys long pats and having his stunning coat brushed, to look good for you. He loves nothing better than to sit with you on the lounge while you’re watching movies, if to do nothing but hold your hand. As a typical male the way to Jax’s heart is through his belly. The only thing in return that this chilled out gentleman will ask of you, is that he is the only feline in your life.

Jemima – Female DSH

Adoption Profile:
Name: Jemima
DOB: 01/07/2019
Gender: Female
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Adoption Fee: $170
Location: Southport
Snuggle scope: Loves snuggles
Cat scope: Friendly with other cats but prefers her own space
Dog scope: Untested
Child scope: Okay with kids over 10.

Jemima is a super sweet quiet little lady looking for a super sweet quiet little home.
She is very affectionate and smoochy but also very low maintenance. She is perfectly happy to snooze her days away while you attend to your human activities. Then smother you with cuddles and head boops and kisses when you have time to chill out and snuggle.
Grooming her with a brush will win you extra bonus love and purr points.
Jemima came into care as a very terrified unsocialsed cat. She has been with foster carers for over a year now who have helped her to gain confidence, trust and rehabilitate her into the very lovely house cat she has become. she needs a family who is understanding, accepting and compassionate of her past.
She may be a bit shy when you first meet but once she gets to know you she is the most and adorable and precious companion.
Jemima prefers to a live in a very quiet, calm environment so a home with only 1 or 2 humans where she can be an only cat would be ideal. She has lived with several carers with other cats, but unfortunately due to a couple of different dominant cats bullying her she has become untrusting around other felines, and is ideally looking for a home with no other cats.

Snuggle scope: Learning how to snuggle
Cat scope: Great with other cats
Dog scope: Unknown
Child scope: Unknown

Joan is a super sweet loving confident purry princess (once she gets to know you). While she is very shy around new people, it usually takes her about 4 days to come out of her shell.
After that she is the perfect house kitty who loves to smother her person in smooches and purrs.
She loves to spend her days snoozing and playing with her human and cat friends. At night she is a champion snuggler and bed warmer. Loves a treat or a bit of your meaty dinner.
Please note: Joan came into foster care as a very very scared unsocialised kitty and while she has very quickly developed into a wonderful house cat, she is still very shy around new people. FYI…When I’m excited I give little love nibbles. It’s my way of showing how happy I am. Due to this, I’m best suited to older children only.

My staff will help you in making me a permanent member of your family all you need to do is click on the link below to arrange a meet and greet .

Katie – Female DSH

Adoption Profile:

Name: Katie
DOB: 25/03/2020
Gender: Female
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Adoption Fee: $170
Location: Marsden
Snuggle scope: Likes to snuggle at bed time
Cat scope: Excellent after initial introductions – needs a feline friend
Dog scope: Not suitable
Child scope: Suited to a home with no children
Medical note: Katie has an allergic skin disease. She is allergic to some types of food. She has responded really well to her special diet and will need to be careful with what she eats for her whole life.

About:

Katie was adopted from BFF as a baby but was returned due to her suffering allergies.
She has had quite a bit of upheaval over the last 12mths which has caused her to be initially very shy and cautious of new people. Once trust had been established she is an extremely playful and outgoing young lady. Katie adores playtime and is happiest with playmates of similar size.
Katie has lived in multiple cat households and as a solo cat, and she is happier with feline company where she can go crazy in cat play and tumble. If Katie is left alone for long periods she can get lonely and as such finds herself getting into mischievous situations.
Katie loves her food, but most food does not agree with her, giving her skin allergies – we have been able to find a low preservative diet that agrees with her allergies diet that is not cost-prohibitive. However, her siblings’ food is most definitely off-limits.
Katie loves to sleep alongside foster mum every night, or in a spot of sunlight during the day. Katie can be very high energy, so playtime is a must for her to expend energy.
Katie has displayed reactions to most preventative flea treatments, but vet Dr Shane has advised she can live in a multi-cat household untreated if other cats/pets are medicated with flea prevention. Katie is untested with small children, however, Katie can get frustrated with unwanted attention, and as such small children environment would not be recommended. When Katie is stressed she will exhibit mild cat flu symptoms like sneezing and watery eyes, although fully vaccinated – this will be an ongoing condition for her.

Lara – Female DSH

Adoption Profile:

Name: Lara
DOB: 24/01/2017
Gender: Female
Breed: DSH
Adoption Fee: $170
Location: Cannon Hill
Snuggle scope: will tolerate being picked up for short amounts of time. Not a lap cat but will happily sleep at the head of your bed with you.
Cat scope: single cat household or quiet, submissive cat
Dog scope: unknown
Child scope: unknown but would be fine with quiet, gentle hands

About:

After spending the last 6 years locked in a cage, Lara has really come out of her shell since settling into foster care. The first few months in care, Lara spent 99% of her time underneath the bed, only coming out for meals. Once she felt comfortable enough, she moved to her new safe space, under a dresser, which gives her a bit more room to breathe! Although now, she is usually waiting for me on my bed when I get home. She has turned in to the sweetest kitty! She can be playful at times and get the zoomies like any other cat, but will happily spend the day hiding away in her safe space (probably charging up for the zoomies), snoozing. She is very inquisitive and loves to explore, but will run away from loud noises. Even though my other foster cat, Harry, can get in her face sometimes, she still wants to come out of her room and roam the common areas. This sweet girl will give you so much joy.

Latte had a rough start and came into care a very scared little girl. She has however blossomed in foster care with love, affection and lots of yummy food and boy does she love her food!
Latte is affectionately known by her foster family as Miss Fatty, she is only a small cat her love of food has given her quite a plump behind.
Latte is quite a sassy girl, even though she is the smallest in the house, she will tactfully let her bigger brothers know if she has had enough of them with a quick bop.
Latte is very good with cat savvy children and loves her foster carers teenage daughter. She follows her around the house, sleeps with her and is always very close by no matter what she is doing. Latte is also happy to be picked up for a quick cuddle.

Lavender – Female Ragdoll

Adoption Profile:

Name: Lavender
DOB: 17/08/2023
Gender: Female
Breed: Ragdoll
Adoption Fee: $170
Location: Kallangur
Snuggle scope: 100/10 level smooch
Cat scope: Friendly
Dog scope: Likely ok with calm dogs if introduced correctly
Child scope: Friendly

About:

Her snuggles? Iconic.
Her squeaky mews? Iconic.
Those piercing eyes? Iconic.
The zoomies? Iconic.
There’s no way to sugar coat it, Lavender is an exceptional example of an adult cat stuck in a kitten’s body. This teeny sweetheart came into care extremely underweight, with anaemia and dermatitis from flea infestation, and a lingering sinus issue. Despite all this neglect, she knew one thing and one thing only, and that’s how to love and be loved. When her foster carer picked her up she was snuggled into her chest purring and making little biccies within less than a minute, and hasn’t willingly left her side since!
Now she’s feeling better and has gained some much needed weight, Lavender is exploring what it is to be a young cat with endless energy! She has learned to play and is doing well walking on a harness already. She is the epitome of a ‘bombproof’ cat, and regularly heads to work with her foster Mum for cuddles and endless attention. Lavender’s favourite trick is to stretch her tiny paws up your legs and mew at you until you pick her up and carry her around like she’s your baby, which of course she is!
Noise and new people don’t phase Lavender either, so she would be a wonderful addition to a young family, or someone who likes to entertain at home. She is still learning to do zoomies, jump up, and play without claws, and doesn’t know what personal space is yet so would need to be supervised around very young children and cribs. She is content in her own company for short periods, but would do best in a home where she can be around people and maybe another cat for playtime as much as possible. Lavender is very intelligent and could potentially be trained as a companion/support cat for someone looking to go through that process. She is very comfortable in public where appropriate and when restrained, and travels well in the car.
Lavender has settled in with the other foster cats in her home like she’s been there for years. After her isolation period ended she strolled into the main house confident and fearless, and was playing and cuddling with them within minutes. Her lack of personal space does extend to other cats however, so any feline or canine companions will need to be tolerant of her energy and affection levels. She has met a few small dogs through her crate and appears unphased by them, so would likely be fine in a home with a gentle, cat friendly dog if introduced correctly.
To meet this little one please click on the link below, but we will warn you, to meet Lavender is to love her so apply with caution!

Leila – Female DSH

Adoption Profile:

Name: Leila
DOB: 14/05/2020
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Gender: Female
Location: The Gap
Adoption Fee: $170
Snuggle Scope: Not a fan of being held, but can be picked up
Cat Scope: Fine with slow introduction
Dog Scope: Fine with slow introduction
Child Scope: Untested, but older gentle children 10+ years

About:

Leila is a friendly and funny girl. She will come running as you enter the room, wrapping herself around your legs and then flopping to the floor and stretching out, inviting lots of patting, chin scratches and belly rubs (which she very rarely objects to). Although craving the attention from her carer, Leila can be wary of newcomers/strangers and will run and hide herself away. But with the temptation of treats and a toy, it doesn’t take her long to come out and play.
Leila is a stunning black panther, and her coat is shiny and soft with the occasional bit of white fur poking through. She loves to play, and her antics continue to bemuse her carer daily, and she enjoys living life to the fullest.
Leila also loves her food, and will head bop your hand and weave and brush up against you as if to say ‘hurry up I am starving’ if you are slow to put food into her bowl.
Leila loves to chase small soft balls, and will jump up and catch them, swat them around and could be the next Olympic Soccer Goalkeeper with her skills. Leila also loves to run back and forth through the tunnel, chasing the balls or anything else that is thrown through.
When it is time to rest, she would appreciate a well-placed cat tree or a windowsill/doorway where she can go and watch the world go by.

She can often be found hanging out of her beds, dangling out a leg or two, or just twisted upside down sprawled across the middle of your bed or the lounge. Lena is a confident girl who loves to explore and play. As she’s grown up, so has her cuddliness. Lena loves to join her humans, snuggling against or on them, on the lounge or on the bed at night. Sometimes she’s even so happy to just be laying next to you on the lounge she’ll be purring and kneading. In this cooler weather, Lena not only loves keeping her human’s feet warm at night, she also loves ducking under the blankets on these chilly mornings for a snuggle. Lena isn’t just a one person cat, and loves to share the love around, even if that sometimes means visiting all human family members beds at night/in the morning for cuddles so everyone can have Lena cuddles.
Lena loves meeting new ‘siblings’ and very quickly forgets what personal space is and is rolling around playing and wrestling with her new kitty friends.

About:

Leylani (Lani for short), when she first came into care, was scared and in severe pain. She would, when approached, lash out. She would hide wherever she could, hissing and indicating to not come any closer. However, when there was just her and her sister Leila, she would come out and they would play.
Lani is, very interested in playing with the toys, wand toys/ bouncy balls and her favourite the red dot tower. She plays very gently, when she can put aside her fear of humans, and is interested in any game that is being played.
Now that her teeth have been removed, Lani eats without pain, but is a little slow. So softer foods with no large chunks of meat are best. Creamy treats and small dry treats are her vice, and she will happily munch on dry biscuits until she can swallow them.
She will now play, when in the openness of the whole house, play with the tunnels and balls, bottle caps and cardboard rolls, with her sister, when the humans aren’t around.
