Henrietta – Female DMH

 

Henri came into care as the youngest and smallest of a group of seven kittens who had been living rough, surviving with the help of a kind gentleman who made sure they were fed.

 

Life wasn’t easy for little Henri, and she faced more than her fair share of challenges-including cat flu and severe conjunctivitis that left scarring on one eye, along with a minor congenital condition causing part of her eye to remain adhered.

 

Her eye has improved significantly and may continue to heal, but it’s likely it will never fully recover. The good news? Henri doesn’t seem to mind one bit! We think that this just adds to her charm.

 

Despite likely never having had any physical contact from a human before she was rescued, Henri surprised everyone with how quickly she accepted affection. From day one, she was open to pats and quickly began to show her sweet, adventurous side.

 

Henrietta’s story is one of bravery and resilience. Being the tiniest of the bunch meant she had to be bold to survive, and that fearless spirit still shines today. She’s inquisitive, playful, and full of energy-but she’s also sweet, affectionate, clever, and determined. Whether she’s meeting someone new, checking out a new toy or peering out the window at a new sight or sound, Henri does it all with courage.
