Iris – Female DSH

 

Iris came into care with 4 small kittens, barely less than a kitten herself. Weighing in just under 2.4kg, this tiny young cat was a brilliant mother and raised gorgeous babies.

 

When she first came out of the kitten room into the main house, she was just terrible with food – she would steal bread off the bench and chew through the packaging – she would knock over the bin to find anything that might be tasty, and would try to steal food off your plate – we put this down to her being so hungry while trying to sustain a litter of babies, and still not being used to having unlimited food.

 

We are now a few months down the track, and we are happy to report that her manners are impeccable now and she has perfect manners!

 

Once her babies left care Iris let her inner kitten shine and is just a joy to have in the house.

 

She is perfectly at home in a multi cat home and loves having cat friends to play with – she also loves the small dog in her foster home and will often been seen cuddled up and grooming her which is so sweet!

 

Iris is the definition of the PERFECT cat – she is just amazing in every way, and will make an amazing addition to any home.
