Since that time, he has made tremendous progress and now loves bedtime scratches, pats and cuddles from his carer. He is a handsome young man with striking stripes (almost like a cross between a tiger & zebra).
He absolutely adores his foster carer’s other cats and being around them seems to help build his trust of humans so he would love a home with a calm, gentle feline to help his confidence.
He is still quite skittish with strangers and gets scared if they approach him; he prefers to be given space to get to know and trust new humans and to approach them when he feels safe. While we haven’t tested with children, we believe that he would be only suitable for calm gentle children 12+.
His carer has been working on building his confidence with new people, and he improves every day. He has shown that he is a truly beautiful cat with an affectionate side and with a little patience and persistence person know that he will reward you in spades and find out that he is actually a snuggle-bug in disguise
