Oscar’s favourite pastime is parkouring around with other kitties, racing at full speed and tumbling over himself in the process. He’s a bundle of furry chaos who clearly believes that every room is a racetrack and every obstacle is an opportunity for an acrobatic manoeuvre with guaranteed entertainment value!
While Oscar is full of beans when he’s playing, he’s still learning that humans can be trusted. He’ll need a patient, gentle adopter who understands that confidence takes time and who will let him settle in at his own pace, without any pressure for handling. He has plenty of growing to do when it comes to trusting people, but with kindness, consistency and a safe environment, he has every opportunity to blossom. He will currently tolerate some light pats when eating.
One thing that would make a world of difference to Oscar is having another friendly, confident cat to show him the ropes. He loves to snuggle up with a buddy when his batteries are recharging and he would benefit from a feline role model who can demonstrate that humans aren’t so scary after all and help him feel secure in his new surroundings. A home with a friendly resident cat would be ideal, giving Oscar someone to learn from as he builds his confidence.
