Marie came into our care from a hoarding situation, she was very skinny and had a litter of kittens in tow. The product of such unfortunate circumstances, Marie is quite timid around new people and will need time to adjust to her new surroundings. It took Marie a few months to become comfortable with accepting pats from her foster family, but even though she’s not quite sure how she feels about humans at the start, once she trusts you she will come when you call her and snuggle up in bed with you at night.
Marie loves to play with toys so can be a lively little cat once she gets going, but will happily snooze on your bed in the sun all day as well. She is currently living with two large dogs who have grown up around cats, she will happily play with them but will stand her ground if she’s had enough.
Marie also loves kids! She would love to snuggle up to gentle children, and follow them around the house while they play. Named after Ms Curie, Marie has a lot of love to radiate to the right person. If you’re patient and looking for a love bug of a cat, Marie is the right girl for you. She may be shy at first, but her heart is very big and we’re sure she’d like to share it with you.
