COVID-19 has changed the way we all interact with the world.
As a charitable organisation relying solely on our volunteers, Best Friends Felines values the health and safety of our team and their families. All our cats are cared for within the home setting, and all meets occur in private residences. When you submit a meet and greet application for one of our animals, our admin team will ask you a series of screening questions to confirm that we keep everyone safe from COVID-19 before you proceed. Our team of foster carers are very diverse, and as a group we are respectful of all views towards how we keep ourselves safe. Our foster carers may ask additional questions of you when you make contact regarding your meet – this may be with respects to vaccination status, requirements for mask wearing or social distancing in the home. We respect your choice to divulge this information if you feel comfortable, however in turn ask that you respect the choices our volunteers make to keep themselves and their families safe.
Thank you for your understanding under difficult and trying circumstances.
Please note that you will get an email confirming your application – please be patient for this to arrive and for the form to submit potentially.
