Cecilie (pronounced Cecilia or Cecily depending on your part of the world!) came to BFF as part of our Last Litter Program.
Since her (much larger) brother has been adopted, Cecilie has had a chance to let her big kitten energy really show.
She is the most beautiful kitten on the outside and inside, with stunning orange eyes, a heart on her nose and beautiful white markings on her coat.
She loves to do zoomies, chase toy wands and her absolute favourite thing is her KMart tunnel which provides hours of entertainment for her (and her carer).
Being raised in a house with a couple of older (and wiser?) cats, she’s learned a few lessons; that she never has to fight for food anymore, and nighttime is time for bed, not for zoomies.
While she’s not a fan of being picked up or carried, she is a complete snuggle bug and will happily join you in bed. She seems to know when you need some kitten love, flopping stretched out across you as big as she can make herself, purring her little heart out. For such a little lady, she has an enormous purr. Did you know that cat purrs are good for us and som people think they also have healing properties?

Chandler is a gorgeous tabby and white boy, with a huge personality! He loves nothing better than wrestling with his sisters, and strutting around with his toy fish, mouse or ball in his mouth.
He loves climbing to the top of his towers, and his favourite spot to sleep is sprawled on the window sill watching the world go by, and catching the breeze. He is the most confident of his litter, exploring the house, the secure outdoor enclosure, and plays well with the other cats, kittens and dogs in the house.
He is a great eater, and uses his litter tray beautifully. He is very curious, and very playful and spends from the minute he wakes up to the minute he goes to bed racing around the house finding new ways to amuse himself. Respect Her Royalty: Eden may have ended up in a rural pound, abandoned by her owners and found severely emaciated, but she has always embraced her inner princess. She carries herself with an air of royalty, always looking impeccably put together in an adorably sweet package right the way down to her tiny little tippy toes.

Understand Her Past: Remember, she was transported to us weighing less than a third of what she should for her age, after being let down by people and left to fight for her life. Her journey has made her strong and confident, but she’s also a little bit delicate. She’s still very small for her age, and it’s uncertain if she’ll ever reach full size, but we think she’s perfect the way she is.

Give Her Attention: Eden can be independent and happy in her own company, but more than anything she loves to be loved. She tends to shy away from the hustle and bustle of the main house, preferring to seek out quiet spots alone so it is important to take the affection to her whenever you can. Pats will always be gratefully received and rewarded with head boops, teeny tiny little biccies, and endless purrs!

Playtime is Sacred: While Eden enjoys playing with toys on her own, she occasionally indulges in hallway zoomies with her foster brothers, and with some very impressive speed! Make sure to encourage her playtime, whether she’s chasing a toy mouse or sprinting through the house, her road to recovery requires re-development of lost muscle mass so enrichment and a tower to climb is key.

Bedtime is Special: At night, Eden loves to sleep on our chests, curled up in the crook of our arms, or snuggled into our necks. It’s her way of feeling safe and loved, even if she’s so light you sometimes forget she’s there! About:This handsome little guy with his gorgeous caramel tiger stripes was reported scared and all alone hiding out in a shed crying each night for help. Upon coming into care he hid for the first 24 hours looking for an escape route but soon realized that he was safe and fed and most importantly loved. He even braved his first vet visit and was given a clean bill of health.
Named Ezra meaning help and strength, he has shown he is a purr machine when shown love. He’s still nervous of loud noises and sudden movements and is timid around strangers but he’s come a long way in a short period, arching his back for tail scratches and wanting head bops from his foster mummy and his new foster fur family.
He’s loving playtime with his foster furfriends and is learning how to be a cat after being on his own at such a young age.

Mavric is an absolute goofball! His interests include tearing around the room, sitting in the sink, sitting at the absolute top of the cat tree and swiping at anyone that walks past and being first in line for food. He is so cute too with big ears and has the most beautiful colouring.
