Gender: Female
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Adoption Fee: $215
Location: Carina Heights
Snuggle scope: Loves a cuddle when she isn’t exploring

About:

Boo might have had a rough start to life, but you’d never guess it by the way she zooms around with curiosity and confidence.

This playful, mischievous girl is full of life, love, and a touch of cheeky charm that’s guaranteed to make you smile.

Boo came into care with six other kittens after living rough, surviving thanks to the kindness of a gentleman who made sure they were fed.

She was battling cat flu and conjunctivitis so severe that it caused scarring in one eye. While her eye has improved a lot and may continue to heal, it will likely always carry a small reminder of her journey. But don’t worry-Boo certainly doesn’t let it slow her down!

Despite likely never having human contact before rescue, Boo was quick to accept pats and has since blossomed into a confident, affectionate kitten. She loves to play, explore, and do zoomies around the house but is also happy to settle down for a cuddle or a few gentle strokes.

Looking for a kitten with sass, sweetness, character and cuddles? Boo might just be your perfect match.

Chloe – Female Ragdoll

Adoption Profile:

Name: Chloe
DOB: 02/03/2014
Gender: Female
Breed: Ragdoll
Adoption Fee: $150
Location: Albany Creek
Snuggle scope: Not a fan of being held but LOVES gentle pats and chin scratches. Loves sleeping on the human’s lap.
Cat scope: Loves other cats as long as they are relatively calm
Dog scope: Scared of dogs
Child scope: Untested, but would not have problems with gentle handling
Medical note: Chloe has idiopathic hypercalcemia. This means that Chloe has elevated calcium levels in her blood, she has had a complete work-up of tests and no cause can be found. Idiopathic hypercalcaemia is the most common cause of hypercalcaemia in cats. Chloe’s condition is currently managed through her diet. Ongoing she requires 6 monthly monitoring of her ionised calcium levels in her blood (next due end of September 2025) and a strict diet. Chloe must eat Hills C/D wet food as this diet has controlled calcium levels. Veterinary Partners handout on hypercalcaemia

About:

Beautiful, stately, sophisticated yet playful cuddlebug looking for a forever home.

Chloe came into care after her owner had to be moved to a nursing home. She adjusted well and can spend hours on her human’s lap sleeping while getting chin and head rubs.

Even though she is 11 years old, the intensity of her play sessions and the speed of her running belie her age. She has an elderly, wise person vibe about her and is very good at “taking care” of her human by grooming him whenever she thinks he has been slacking in that department (he does not).

She also likes to supervise him when he is working on his laptop, and especially when he is “making” her food.

The way she carries herself, you’d think she has graduated from finishing school. She is quiet, relaxed, and only meows when she wants something specific (which, she is very good at communicating).

Even the way she walks is graceful.

There is no need to worry about leaving milk or butter or any other food on the table. She is least interested in eating our food. She eats only her food, and only when it is in the correct bowls.

She is very good with visitors, and other cats. However, she is not a fan of dogs at all. She prefers calmer, quieter places, but doesn’t mind noises from the kitchen or washing machine or vacuum cleaner etc.

She loves going on short evening walks on her harness and leash. She also loves sitting outside in the backyard sunbathing, looking at birds and chasing insects (all while being on her leash). She’d love to be part of a house where she can share her love in return for yours.

Please note: As all our cats live in foster homes, a completed Meet & Greet application is required before we can arrange a visit. Apply today meet’n’greet form

Hemingway – Male DSH

Adoption Profile:

Name: Hemingway
DOB: 29/11/2024
Gender: Male
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Adoption Fee: $215
Location: Bonogin, Gold Coast
Snuggle scope: Still learning to snuggle, but loves attention and pats
Cat scope:  Brilliant with other cats
Dog scope: Great with the small dog in his foster home
Child scope: Untested
Medical Note: Hemingway has Anophthalmia in one eye. He will have an enucleation to clean out the eye socket and stitch the eye shut before he leaves care.

About:

Hemingway came into care as an unsocialised kitten, with what we were told was an eye injury.

Once seen by the vet it was confirmed that he in fact has Anophthalmia in one eye, which is basically a birth defect where the eye doesn’t form. He will have an enucleation to clean out the eye socket and stitch the eye shut before he leaves care.

Being told when Hemingway entered care that he was an “unsocialised” kitten, we were expecting a kitten who was terrified of humans. That was not the case with this little guy.

While a little hesitant of sudden movement and loud noises, from day one Hemingway showed us that he was a smoochy little boy who loved pats and was keen to learn to trust humans.

Fast forward just over a month in care, and Hemingway has really thrived! Having just 1 eye does not stop him doing anything and he does everything like a normal kitten.

He has some kitten friends in his foster home who he loves to play with, and he also adores the small dog in his foster home.

While he can be a little unsure of new people, once he trusts you he is very sweet and he will reward you with heartwarming purrs. He loves to sit in your lap receiving cuddles and chin scratches while purring away

Hemingway is looking for a loving home, possibly with a friend, where he can continue being the gorgeous kitten that he is.

Henrietta – Female DMH

Adoption Profile:

Name: Henrietta
DOB: 06/12/2024
Gender: Female
Breed: Domestic Medium Hair
Adoption Fee: $215
Location: Carina Heights
Snuggle scope: Loves a cuddle when she isn’t exploring
Cat scope:  Great with other kittens, should be fine with slow introductions
Dog scope: Untested but should be OK with slow introduction
Child scope: Untested but should be OK with slow introduction

About:

Don’t let her dainty frame fool you-Henrietta (affectionately known as Henri by her carer) is packed full of personality, courage, and charm.

Henri came into care as the youngest and smallest of a group of seven kittens who had been living rough, surviving with the help of a kind gentleman who made sure they were fed.

Life wasn’t easy for little Henri, and she faced more than her fair share of challenges-including cat flu and severe conjunctivitis that left scarring on one eye, along with a minor congenital condition causing part of her eye to remain adhered.

Her eye has improved significantly and may continue to heal, but it’s likely it will never fully recover. The good news? Henri doesn’t seem to mind one bit! We think that this just adds to her charm.

Despite likely never having had any physical contact from a human before she was rescued, Henri surprised everyone with how quickly she accepted affection. From day one, she was open to pats and quickly began to show her sweet, adventurous side.

Henrietta’s story is one of bravery and resilience. Being the tiniest of the bunch meant she had to be bold to survive, and that fearless spirit still shines today. She’s inquisitive, playful, and full of energy-but she’s also sweet, affectionate, clever, and determined. Whether she’s meeting someone new, checking out a new toy or peering out the window at a new sight or sound, Henri does it all with courage.

If you’re looking for a kitten who’s overcome the odds with grace and grit – and who has endless love to give – Henrietta might just be the one for you.

About:

Herbie came into care very shy and timid.

He used to hide behind the washing machine and dryer and only come out to eat and then go straight back to his hiding places.

He slowly became more comfortable over the next few weeks but would still hide when a visitor entered the room.

Short-cut to now – Herbie is so confident and happy. He loves chasing a rubber ball down the hallway. He loves kitten wands, scratches, sitting on high windowsills. He loves playing with his other rescue kitten buddies.

He is a bit clumsy and has fallen off couches and cat trees, but I think this just makes him more loveable.

Location: Mudgeeraba
Snuggle scope: Loves being nearby, but not a lap cat. Okay with being picked up.
Cat scope: Better as a solo cat
Dog scope: Unknown

About:

Marley and you?

This little lady, like her musical namesake is one pretty cool cat. She loves spending her days chilling out, looking out windows, watching the world go by.

She likes meeting new people and sidles up quickly for one of her favourite things in the world, a head scratch. In the evenings her favourite spots are by her human on the lounge or curled up at the end of the bed. Marley hasn’t shown much interest in laps, but with summer coming, who needs a lap warmer anyway. She does though love being nearby and will reward you with the sweetest little meow, or a lovely loud purr.

Marley is learning the wonders of play and has quite a workout chasing toys on sticks. She’ll often roll over to show her beautiful belly, but don’t fall into the trap of thinking she wants a belly rub, it’s her favourite game, grabbing any unsuspecting hand (gently of course).

Marley is an undemanding, sweet, relaxed girl who is responding very well to care. She will no doubt continue to blossom when she finds her forever people to show her the love that was missing from her last home.

Peyton – Male Ragdoll

Adoption Profile:

Name: Peyton
DOB: 9/2/10
Gender: Male
Breed: Ragdoll
Adoption Fee: $150
Location: Camp Hill
Snuggle scope: Ok on his terms, usually curls up to you when in bed. He allows to be picked up and cuddled though
Cat scope: Has lived with multiple cats in the past but given age and health conditions now needs his own space
Dog Scope: Untested
Child Scope: Untested but recommended kids over 12
Vet work: Completed
Ready to leave care: Now

Medical note – Peyton came into care with Best Friends Felines in February 2023. At the time he entered care he had severe gingivostomatitis which resulted in a full dental extraction. Peyton also has inflammatory bowel disease which is managed with a small dose prednisone every third day. Peyton is also deaf

About:

Peyton came into our care along with several other Ragdolls from an urgent care situation up north.

He was quite underweight and sickly looking as his mouth was so sore he wasn’t able to eat properly. His paws were brown from constantly pawing at his mouth and it looked like he hadn’t groomed himself in years. He had a condition called gingivostomatitis which was resolved by removing all of his infected teeth. He is now sitting at a good weight with a luscious, healthy coat which he grooms from time to time.

Despite his age he likes to play with cat wands and laser toys, thinks boxes are fun and has the occasional zoomies. He also loves to follow you from room to room, especially when it’s getting close to dinner time. He is a food motivated cat so will want you to share your dinner with him, especially if it’s chicken nuggets, his fave!

He is a very outgoing boy who will greet all visitors at the door and is open to a pat on his terms. Given that he was born deaf, he reacts a little bit differently than other cats so his owners will need time to get to know his behaviours and what he does or doesn’t like. He does take a couple days to get used to new environments and may seem spooked by objects and shadows as he navigates his surroundings.

He does have a spunky Ragdoll attitude and needs someone willing to look past his differences and be patient with him as his history with humans hasn’t been a kind one.

His purrs are heard throughout the whole house which go even louder when you’ve got food in your hand, it’s dinner time or he’s enjoying a really good pat. You will also hear grumbles from him while he’s eating if he is really enjoying the food.

Of a morning, if you aren’t up before him he will stand there staring at you, purring away until you awake from your slumber.

He does require regular grooming as he prefers not to do it himself and this does come with a bit of a challenge as he had never been groomed in the past. He does however tolerate his nails being trimmed which is also done regularly so that he doesn’t hurt anyone when he is grumpy.

Everyday is a fun day with Peyton, he does some of the most random, cutest things that you don’t expect. Everyone that meets him falls in love with his quirky personality even though he’s been known not to charm anyone.

Pippin is a stunning ginger and white boy who came into care alongside his brother Merry after being rescued from a pound up north.

Their names, inspired by the lovable and mischievous hobbits from The Lord of the Rings, couldn’t be more fitting!

His affectionate nature shines through in these moments, and he’s always eager to share his love in his own cheeky way. As he matures, he is growing to love cuddles but still prefers snuggling up by your side and part of the action.

If you’re looking for a kitteen who’s full of energy, personality, and love, Pippin is the perfect match to bring joy to your home. Whether he’s playing or cuddling, he’s sure to make your days brighter.

Could Pippin be the companion you’ve been looking for?

Raquelle – Female DSH

Adoption Profile:

Name: Raquelle
DOB: 31/10/24 Born on Halloween!
Gender: Female
Breed: DSH
Adoption Fee: $215
Location: Capalaba
Snuggle scope: Not snuggly but will obsess over you
Cat scope: Prefers not, but may adapt with time
Dog scope: With time perhaps – prepare for your dog to be chased
Child scope: Cat savvy kids only; recommend 12+

About:

Raquelle is a stunning house panther with a captivating presence and a personality to match.

She is confident and bold, sweet and ever so entertaining!

Highly intuitive and emotionally attuned to her environment, Raquelle thrives in a stable home with calm, consistent energy.

She responds well to clear boundaries and strong, compassionate leadership. Her intelligence and sensitivity make her highly trainable, and she’s quick to learn the rhythms of her home and the people in it.

Raquelle enjoys exploring and “patrolling” her surroundings. She often entertains herself by inventing games with her toys—particularly feather toys, which she carries proudly as she sets up increasingly clever challenges for herself.

While she values her independence, Raquelle also cherishes human companionship. She will want to be near you when you’re home and would love to spend the night curled up at your side.

She is especially well-suited to life with a young adult or teenager—someone who will appreciate her playful spirit and strong personality. Playtime with Raquelle is lively and engaging—she doesn’t hold back, so be ready to match her energy!

Although Raquelle isn’t a lap cat in the traditional sense, she does enjoy affection—on her terms. When she chooses to connect, the bond is deep, sincere, and incredibly rewarding.

Raquelle can be sensitive to change, and transitions may be challenging for her. We ask that any potential adopters be patient and allow her at least one to two weeks to fully settle into her new environment, especially if other animals are present. With time, space, and understanding, she will reveal her full potential.

She is currently adapting impressively to a busier household with multiple cats, showing resilience and a growing capacity to integrate.

Raquelle is looking for a home that will appreciate her complexity, respect her boundaries, and offer her the love and companionship she deserves. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to a truly special cat, Raquelle may be the perfect match for you.

Rex – Male DMH

Adoption Profile:

Name: Rex
DOB: 29/11/2024
Gender: Male
Breed: Domestic Medium Hair
Adoption Fee: $215
Location: Carina Heights
Snuggle scope: Loves pats and snuggles
Cat scope:  Great with other kittens, should be fine with slow introductions
Dog scope: Untested but should be OK with slow introduction
Child scope: Untested but should be OK with calm, gentle hands

About:

Rex might look like a tiny panther with his sleek, shiny black coat, but underneath that majestic exterior is the softest, sweetest soul you’ll ever meet.

Rex came into care with his six siblings after surviving the tough life of living rough, relying on the kindness of a gentleman who fed them.

Despite his rough start and a battle with cat flu and severe conjunctivitis that left some scarring on one eye, Rex has bounced back with incredible resilience. His eye has improved greatly and may continue to heal, but even if it doesn’t fully recover, it certainly doesn’t slow him down or dim his playful spirit. We think it just adds so much character to this brave little smooch.

What makes Rex truly special is his gentle nature. Although he likely had little to no human contact before rescue, he was instantly trusting-accepting pats, flopping over for belly rubs and purring so loud he could be heard from across the room! He’s the calmest and most cautious of his siblings, but once he’s comfortable, he loves to play, snuggle, and charm everyone around him with his affectionate ways.

Rex would be a wonderful addition to almost any household-whether you’re looking for a chill cuddle buddy, a sweet playmate for another cat, or just a loving companion with a big heart and a little scar that tells a story of strength and survival.

If you think that this gorgeous house panther might just be your perfect match, submit our meet’n’greet form to meet him and see.
