Cat scope: Barney would be best suited as a SOLO Diva
Dog scope: Fine with dogs but will bop them if they get up in his face and bother him. He doesn’t like to be chased either.
Child scope: Doesn’t like to be grabbed or picked up so best suited to a home with children over 12 years old.

Barney is a distinguished almost 8 year-old Scottish Fold with a charming personality and a heart full of love to give. With his signature folded ears and captivating eyes, Barney is sure to steal your heart from the moment you meet him. Barney is an independent cat who enjoys lounging in sunny spots, observing his surroundings, and receiving gentle pets from his favorite humans – especially head scratches. While he appreciates attention on his own terms, Barney also values his personal space and prefers a calm and peaceful environment. He thrives in a serene home where he can relax and unwind without the hustle and bustle of energetic playmates. He also loves scratching posts and is very well behaved! Barney is seeking a loving forever home where, in a perfect world, he can be the center of attention as the only pet. However, he may consider cohabitating with other pets who are respectful of his boundaries and give him the space he needs. Currently Barney cohabitates with one cat and dog that he tolerates as long as they stay out of his way and don’t corner him however there is another cat in the house he absolutely does not like and will go out of his way to confront and have a fight with if given the opportunity. He’s certainly a diva so if you have a pet or pets then we welcome the opportunity to discuss with Barneys foster carer to see if it would suit.
