Alicent has done an incredible job as a mum, and now she’s learning how to enjoy life as a cat in her own right.

She currently lives in a multi-cat home, which she finds a bit overwhelming at times, so she’d be happiest as a solo cat or with one or two calm feline companions. She also lives with a small dog, who she politely ignores.

About:

Rags to Riches is the best way to describe Andy – he entered care in a deplorable state and there has been blood, sweat and tears to get him to where he is today – he may not be perfect but he is pretty awesome.

Andy can be moody – if the moon isn’t in the right phase, if the neighbour had cereal for dinner last night or if you happen to look at him for 14 seconds instead of 12, he will wander off grumbling to himself or give you a whack with his paw.

He will recline in the lounge and give you “the look” – you know the one. Another thing to note, Andy is STRONG! Andy also enjoys being a trash panda – and will steal things out of the bin at any chance he gets.

Speaking of grooming, Andy’s hair is unlike anything you have felt before. It has improved a million times over from what it was like when he came into care, but does require grooming which helps it stay reasonably manageable.

It does have a tendency to mat, so adopters need to be prepared for grooming costs as DYI grooming will result in multiple whacks and loud grumbles. He also isn’t a fan of having his eyes wiped clean, but this is a necessary part of his grooming.

Ariana (Ari) is a chatty, affectionate, and deeply people-focused girl, forming strong bonds with her humans once she feels safe.

This gorgeous tabby trills to let you know she wants attention, love cheek rubs. She loves being near you, even if that means disappearing under a blanket or towel for hours at a time while still keeping tabs on her favourite person.

Playtime is serious business for Ari – ribbons or anything that drags along the ground is a moving target that she attacks with gusto.

When she is in full play attack mode, it takes a moment for her to get back into calm patting mode. Never aggressive, she does become very excited and takes a moment to get, but a savvy cat owner will recognise if she is in play or pat mode.

Rescued from a large rural colony, Bam Bam is one of the lucky ones to escape his fate and rewrite his story. 6 months later and he continues to bathe in his new world with unconditional love, care, safety and companionship.

Bam Bam currently lives in a multi-cat home with children and dogs. He’s is gentle and confident, loving and appreciative of every ounce of attention you can bestow upon him.

He is playful but respectful, can be cuddled and held when he’s feeling it and will want to snuggle up in bed with you.

He loves the shower, all water in fact and has ended up in the toilet a few times trying to enjoy a splash around!

Bam Bam loves food time and despite his rough beginnings is showing signs that he’s going to be a heavy boy. He is also developing an impressive ‘primordial pouch’ which in the cat world is said to represent a great warrior; built for battle! Alas; the reality is, he’s probably just going to be a big fat cat with a saggy belly. He has his favourite toys and can often be seen running through the house with his favourites in his mouth.

He is highly social so please ensure there will be plenty of company for him. He cannot be left alone all day with no one to play with, he would get very lonely. If you’ve ever joked about becoming a lion tamer, Billy might just be your perfect match.

This striking ginger and white boy is full of personality, presence… and more than a little bit of chaos.

Billy’s play behaviour was never properly moderated as a kitten, and it shows. He becomes overstimulated quickly, and when he does, he will bite, scratch, and bunny-kick as part of his play.

This is not something he will simply “grow out of.” While he isn’t aggressive by nature, he has learned poor habits that require active management. Billy needs a very experienced, calm and confident handler who can read his cues, set firm boundaries, and step away immediately when his energy escalates.

Most of the time, Billy is a relaxed, contented cat who enjoys his naps and doing his own thing. He’s independent but likes to keep a close eye on his humans, often following you from room to room or watching the world go by from his favourite windowsill. He enjoys a chat and will happily “talk” to you throughout the day.

Billy also has a mischievous streak—especially when it comes to food. Slightly on the chubby side and very food-motivated, he has been known to break into containers, chew through packets, and even outsmart automatic feeders in his quest for a snack. He acts like he’s starving, but rest assured, he is very well fed! Managing his food requires secure storage and a bit of creativity.

While he’s not a lap cat and prefers not to be picked up, Billy does have a softer side. He loves playing independently, particularly with plush toys—often “collecting” them from around the house and stashing them in his favourite spots. His long caterpillar toy is a prized possession, and his green catnip mouse is always in rotation. It’s not unusual to find his toys scattered everywhere after a busy play session.

Boo might have had a rough start to life, but you’d never guess it by the way she zooms around with curiosity and confidence.

This playful, mischievous girl is full of life, love, and a touch of cheeky charm that’s guaranteed to make you smile.

Boo came into care with six other kittens after living rough, surviving thanks to the kindness of a gentleman who made sure they were fed.

She was battling cat flu and conjunctivitis so severe that it caused scarring in one eye. While her eye has improved a lot and may continue to heal, it will likely always carry a small reminder of her journey. But don’t worry-Boo certainly doesn’t let it slow her down!

Despite likely never having human contact before rescue, Boo was quick to accept pats and has since blossomed into a confident, affectionate kitten. She loves to play, explore, and do zoomies around the house but is also happy to settle down for a cuddle or a few gentle strokes.

Boots came into care with his sister, both as unsocialised kittens, so was a complete scaredy.

Since that time, he has made tremendous progress and now loves bedtime scratches, pats and cuddles from his carer. He is a handsome young man with striking stripes (almost like a cross between a tiger & zebra).

He absolutely adores his foster carer’s other cats and being around them seems to help build his trust of humans so he would love a home with a calm, gentle feline to help his confidence.

He is still quite skittish with strangers and gets scared if they approach him; he prefers to be given space to get to know and trust new humans and to approach them when he feels safe.

His carer has been working on building his confidence with new people, and he improves every day. He has shown that he is a truly beautiful cat with an affectionate side and with a little patience and persistence person know that he will reward you in spades and find out that he is actually a snuggle-bug in disguise.

While she has made great progress since that time, she remains very skittish and untrusting of humans and likes to watch from a safe distance. She adores her brother and foster carer’s other cats, and being around them seems to help build her trust of humans so she would love a calm friendly feline in her new home.

When her fur siblings sit next to their carer, Bubbles has gotten more confident to be near them and even joining them.

While she isn’t generally food-motivated, she will sometimes eat treats from her carer’s hand. She is still adjusting to life with people, but every day of human love takes her another step in the right direction.

Cassie at only 7 months of age found herself homeless with her three two month old babies in tow meaning she was only 5 months old when she gave birth.

Cassie had been let down by humans and was wary of them , wanting love yet unsure how to handle it.

Cassie has come a long way in just the short time she has been shown some love and runs to greet you with a chirrup and wanting pats and she is starting to show her playful side too now she is feeling relaxed and safe and toys are hours of entertainment.

Cassie is seeking a forever home where she will be cherished forever as your one and only fur baby.

Are you a little bit of a crazy human or family and are looking for a feline companion that can match your vibe? Cecilie is the pocket rocket for you! Cecilie (pronounced Cecilia or Cecily depending on your part of the world!)

She came into care with her brother and at first she was the more timid of the two, scared of everything.

Fast forward six months and her brother being adopted, and this little lady came right out of her shell, zoomed across the loungeroom and declared ‘I’M HERE!!’.

Cecilie has the most gorgeous personality. A glorious mix between being the first to meet you at the door when you come home after work, flopping on the floor wanting belly rubs, purring her heart out and giving you kisses to wake you in the morning, and zooming around the house like a complete lunatic.

She likes to recharge with snoozes on her blankie on the couch and flopping beside her carer to watch TV. Then when she’s at full battery she’s off on her next adventure, chasing the foster kittens and their adopted big brothers and making her own fun in her favourite toy – the Kmart cat tunnel.

Cecilie might be a little loose but never nasty. There’s nothing but love behind those stunning orange and green eyes, although with a solid dash of the crazy. But we love that in a cat!

Cecilie took a little while to warm to her new kitten younger siblings but they’re now the best of friends. She’s still a little fearful of humans other than her carer which is at odds with her otherwise boisterous personality – but she’s definitely making wonderful progress and now peeks around the corner to see who’s come for a visit.

If you are looking for a cat to match your high energy household, a bulletproof kitteh who loves to play and who can get along with other feline siblings, you cannot go past Cecilie. She is a gorgeous little lady with a huge heart and a bigger personality, and her carer would love nothing more than to see her settle into and be loved by her forever family.

Chandler is a big, gorgeous tabby and white boy, with a huge personality!

He loves nothing better than strutting around with his toy fish, mouse or ball in his mouth, before entering into a game of chase with his foster siblings.

He loves climbing to the top of his towers, and his favourite spot to sleep is sprawled on the window sill watching the world go by, and catching the breeze.

He is a little shy with strangers, but very confident in his own environment and plays well with the other cats, kittens and dogs in the house.

He is not a fan of being picked up, but will quickly settle next to his human on the couch or bed and willingly accept pats, chin scratches and cuddles for as long as you would like to give them.

The beautiful, petite little Clara came into care with her 5 new born kittens, and has been a wonderful, attentive mummy to her brood who are now ready to go to their fur-ever homes.

Clara is still very young herself, and is discovering her inner-kitten again, now that she has some time to herself.

She loves a gentle play with her kitten wands, loves a good game of chase with her crinkle balls, and excels at climbing towers, but most of all, she loves being near her human having a cuddle, or having her fur gently brushed.

Clary is a beautiful tabby girl with a tender heart and a past that left her terrified of people. When she first came into care, she had had little to no human interaction and was completely petrified.

With time, patience, and gentle consistency, Clary has made quiet but meaningful progress. She now comes to her carer willingly, accepts treats, and allows pats — especially head rubs, which she is slowly learning to enjoy more each day.

Clary is very clear about her boundaries. Every interaction must be on her terms. When she’s had enough, she’ll let you know by walking away or giving a gentle, claw-free swat. She isn’t being unkind — she’s communicating the only way she knows how.

Despite her fear, Clary seeks closeness in her own way. She loves sleeping on the bed with her human, snuggling right beside you, rubbing herself against you, and simply being near — even if she doesn’t yet want hands on her all the time. That trust alone is huge for a cat like Clary.

She follows her human at mealtimes, knows exactly when it’s food time, and grows more confident with each passing day. With someone who is home more often, we truly believe Clary’s confidence will continue to blossom.

Clary would thrive in a quiet, adult-only home, ideally with someone patient and experienced with shy cats. She may be okay with one very placid cat, but dogs are a definite no — she finds them frightening and reacts defensively.

About:

Colby came into care as an unsocialised kitten who had zero trust in humans.

He has been a work in progress and he is now learning that humans mean him no harm, Colby still needs a human who can give him the time and space to trust in a new environment.

Colby is still a bit fearful of “the approach”, and will mostly run when you try to approach him from above but when he is snoozing or laying peacefully he loves a belly rub and chin scratch and will purr and roll around enjoying the attention.

Recently he has been known to approach his foster mum when she is reading quietly or watching TV for pats and will even start making biscuits on mums lap or the small blanket on the couch.

Although Colby happily lives in quite a noisy household, some loud or foreign noises still send him running to hide.

Colby LOVES other cats, and tries to make friends with all the cats in his foster home. I believe Colby needs a home where there is another confident social cat friendly cat that he can play with and chase around the house like he does with his foster brother Mocha.

Cosette was recently surrendered to BFF after her owner couldn’t care for her anymore.

Cosette is quiet but affectionate, loves to be patted and is becoming more cuddly the more she settles in at her carer’s house. She is a dainty little lady with an equally eloquent meow which she likes to use to politely request pats. She is happy to be with her carer but also content chilling on her own.

Cosette is getting used to her foster siblings but this will take time as does any new introduction between kitty siblings! She is a quiet girl so a home with quiet cats would likely be better for her.
