Our little Abby has almost completed her transformation from industrial chic to complete homebody.
The last piece of the puzzle is her forever after home, with her very own people.
Abby was one of the many cats that came from Molendiner, she had her babies and raised them. Now she is relishing her time, soaking up all the snuggles she can get.
She is extremely smoochy, loves her food, loves being cuddled, and generally being an amazing companion.
She may be slightly shy when you first meet her, or when strangers (to her) visit, but once you win her heart she will be forever yours.

About:
Meet Babz
Babz is not your typical easy-going kitty — she’s a special girl who needs patience, understanding, and someone willing to help her continue learning that the world can be safe. But for the right person, the reward is truly incredible.
At only around 10 months old, Babz has already had a very hard start to life. She was found abandoned on a property in Inala alongside several other cats, and despite still being so young herself, it appeared she had already had kittens. While the other cats from the property have all found their forever homes, Babz has needed a little more time to heal emotionally from everything she’s been through.
After spending a month at the vet with another cat who had also been labelled “no hope,” Babz slowly began gaining confidence around people. Returning to a home environment was understandably overwhelming at first, and she took a small step backwards. But after a couple of weeks, her beautiful personality has started shining through again.
Watching Babz discover toys, comfort, and simple joys for the very first time is genuinely heartwarming. Her foster carer says she’s like those videos of cows touching grass for the first time — cautious at first, then suddenly full of wonder and happiness. Seeing her realise that life can actually be fun is something really special.
Babz will need a calm, patient home willing to let her grow at her own pace. She isn’t a “perfect from day one” cat — but with kindness, consistency, and love, she is becoming the most rewarding companion imaginable. Every day she grows a little braver, a little happier, and a little more affectionate.
If you’re willing to put in the work and give a deserving girl the chance she’s never truly had before, Babz may just become your most loyal and loving companion.

Snuggle scope: Is timid of new people, but once she knows you she loves her cuddles.
Cat scope: Great with all the cats and kittens in her foster home.
Dog scope: Tolerates the small dog in her foster home but doesn’t want to be friends.
Child scope : Untested. Would suit older children rather than young kids, they would be too loud for her. Medical note: Belly came into care as a small kitten and she had taken a fall from quite a height. Her back legs were wobbly, but examination from vet showed nothing obvious. Over the months her back legs are still a little wobbly – she’s had xrays and lots of tests and vets cannot find anything obvious. Its highly likely that she has a tail pull injury or mild nerve damage.
About:
Belly is an absolutely stunning fluffy little black panther with a super shiny coat and stunning yellow eyes.
As per her medical note above, Belly has slightly wobbly legs. This does not slow her down what-so-ever and she does everything like a normal kitten, just with a cute little walk. She does not require any special care or any extra vet visits due to this issue.
Belly came to us from a situation where she wasn’t handled when she was really young, so she can be a little unsure of new people or loud noises, but once she knows you she is a really sweet little cuddle bug who will climb onto your lap for cuddles, and loves to sleep on your bed.
This sweet girl deserves an amazing home with people who are prepared to be patient with her while she adjusts to new people and a new environment – but trust us, she is worth it!

When his foster carers named this tuxedo kitten after singer Benson Boone, little did they know how appropriate it was.
Benson turned out to have quite the vocal range and even looks like he’s got a permanent microphone mouthpiece!
This spunky little guy is oozing with kitten charisma, already coming to his name and giving the most loving head butts and snuggles.
He does like to chat and has a kitten’s usual penchant for mischief, particularly when playing with his sister Rhianna who he loves to cuddle with as much as recreate wrestle mania.
Benson is super gentle with humans though and even thoughtfully retracts his claws when making biscuits on his foster mum’s face. He would make the most endearing addition to any family.

About:
The Quiet Adventurer
Bjorn may not be the first to charge into a new situation, but give him a little time and you’ll discover a confident, playful boy with a big personality.
When Bjorn first arrived in foster care, he was quite timid and preferred to watch the world from a safe distance. As he settled in and learned he was safe, his confidence blossomed. These days, he explores his surroundings with curiosity and carries himself with a quiet confidence that is impossible not to admire.
Bjorn absolutely loves to play. Whether he’s chasing toys, wrestling with his feline friends, or entertaining himself, he’s always finding ways to have fun. One of his most adorable quirks is his favourite toy, which he proudly carries around like a dog before running off with it to continue his adventures.
Bjorn has been wonderful with both children and other cats in care. He has only been tested with dogs through a door, where he showed curiosity rather than concern.
Playful, affectionate, and full of character, Bjorn is looking for a family who will give him a little time to settle in and then enjoy watching his confident and loving nature shine.

About:
Meet Celosia, affectionately known as Losi – a stunning little ginger girl with a personality as soft as her fluffy tail.
She came into care from a multicat home where her owner simply had more kitties than they could manage, so BFF stepped in to give Losi and her siblings the space they needed to shine. And shine she does! Losi has blossomed into a healthy, playful, and endlessly sweet young kitty. She’s the kind of girl who wants to be part of everything you do.
Losi will chase anything that moves – cotton buds, toilet rolls, shoelaces. But her gentle paws are never destructive – no curtain climbing or furniture scratching.
She’s a zooming superstar, darting through tunnels and any obstacles like she’s training for the Kitty Olympics. Then, when she’s ready to recharge, she’ll flop beside you, purring at full volume while making enthusiastic air biscuits. If she wants pats, she’ll gently guide your hand to her head – a subtle, adorable request you won’t be able to resist.
Losi will snuggle up next to you on the couch or the bed, especially if it’s on top of a cushion behind your head, where she has been known to show her cat massage skills on her carer’s shoulder. But she isn’t a lap cat and doesn’t love being picked up.
Being part ragdoll, she has that classic “floppy” charm, but don’t be fooled – she can still launch herself vertically to inspect whatever you’re doing at table height.
Losi is used to being in a house with other cats and ranges from friendly and playful to complete indifference with her current four feline housemates. She would do best with the company of another friendly cat, even one slightly older than her but that she can play with, or a human who is around most of the day who can give her some playtime as she just adores company. She’s not been tested with children or dogs.
Losi’s carer absolutely adores her and knows that this little ginger furball will melt the heart of anyone who meets her.

Snuggle scope: Daisy is very affectionate and loves being close to her humans. She happily asks for pats and will rub against you for attention. One of her cutest habits is gently tapping her nose against yours while she’s being stroked.
Cat scope: Daisy would likely do well with another calm and friendly cat with a slow introduction.
Dog scope: Daisy is fostered with a small, timid dog and has become comfortable around them. She may even try to approach when she’s feeling brave or playful. She would likely do best with a gentle, smaller dog rather than a boisterous one.
Child scope: Daisy is great with the three children at her foster home aged between 9-14. She is happy to be picked up and played with when she wants pats.
About:
Daisy is a sweet, affectionate girl who has really come out of her shell in foster care.
She now loves spending time with her humans and will happily curl up nearby for pats and cuddles. When she’s enjoying attention, she often gives the most adorable little nose taps against your nose while being stroked.
She has a playful side too and enjoys games and exploring her surroundings. One of Daisy’s funniest quirks is what her foster family calls her “spider kitty” move — she flips upside down under the couch and quickly scuttles along underneath it, which is guaranteed to make you laugh.
Daisy is becoming more confident every day and will even investigate the family dog when she’s feeling brave. With her gentle nature, playful spirit and loving personality, Daisy would make a beautiful companion for a calm home where she can continue to grow in confidence and enjoy plenty of affection.
So if you’re looking for a sweet little shadow who loves cuddles and gives the cutest nose boops – Daisy might just be your perfect match.

Dog scope: Untested
Child scope : Untested but should be fine with correct introductions
About:
Meet Janani — or Nani for short
Nani is a beautiful young girl who has completely blossomed in foster care.
Once a timid, anxious kitty, Nani was a young mum whose babies have all found homes — but somehow, this sweet girl has been overlooked, even though she’s still basically a kitten herself.
With patience, love and a safe space, Nani’s true personality has started to shine. She is finally getting to be a kitten again — playing, exploring, zooming around, enjoying her food and soaking up all the comfort of home life.
She isn’t a lap cat just yet, but she is absolutely a “wherever you are, I am too” kind of girl. Bathroom trip? She’s there. Cooking dinner? She’s your tiny sous chef. Reading or working? She’ll be close by. Bedtime? Her favourite — she’ll happily curl up beside or on like your own little weighted pillow.
Nani is the definition of placid. She is low-maintenance, tidy with her litter, gentle in the home, and hasn’t been destructive with furniture, curtains, flyscreens or plants (?!). She loves food, enjoys being brushed, greets her humans when they come home and will rub against your legs until she receives her very well-earned royal pats.
She has been fine around dogs, would likely suit calm cats or kittens with proper introductions, but would also be perfectly happy as your only fur baby — more attention for her, obviously.
Nani is sweet, gentle, funny and affectionate in her own soft little way. Without a vicious bone in her body, she genuinely is filled with so much love.
She just needs someone willing to see the beautiful girl she has become and give her the same love she gives out

About:
Hi, my name is Luffy, and I like to think of myself as my foster Mum’s most devoted little shadow.
Wherever she goes, I follow — supervising her chores, keeping watch from a sunny spot nearby, and curling up close whenever I’m ready for a nap.
When a lap is on offer, you’ll find me on it. And come bedtime, my favourite place in the whole world is snuggled up beside my person for the night. I’m an affectionate, people-loving girl, who simply wants to be near the ones I love.
But don’t let all that snuggling fool you — I’ve got a clever, playful side too. I’m very food motivated, which has made learning tricks great fun. I can already sit and spin for a treat, and I’m always keen to learn more. A little training session is my idea of a good time.
I get along well with children, and with proper introductions I’m happy to share my home with other cats. I haven’t spent time around dogs yet, so I’d need a careful introduction there. I’m ready to find my forever home now.
If you’re looking for a loving companion who’ll keep you company, warm your lap, and charm you with a trick or two, I’d love to meet you.

Dog scope: More than likely fine with slow introductions
Child scope: More than likely fine with slow introductions
Medical Summary – Mike has abnormalities affecting both eyes. Right Eye: He has persistent pupillary membrane (PPM) strands extending from the iris to the lens. These are congenital, non-progressive remnants of fetal blood vessels. Because the membrane is attached to the lens, it has caused a small, focal cataract. The progression of this cataract is difficult to predict, but it is hoped that it will remain stable and non-progressive. Additionally, there are adhesions of the conjunctiva causing elevation of the third eyelid. These adhesions are referred to as symblepharon and are likely secondary to a previous feline herpesvirus (“cat flu”) infection. While these adhesions can sometimes be surgically broken down, recurrence is common. Left Eye:Mike has upper eyelid entropion (inward rolling of the eyelid) and may also have microphthalmia (a smaller-than-normal eye). Mild symblepharon adhesions are also present. He has undergone corrective surgery for the entropion, including a wedge resection to better match the eyelid size to the globe. As he continues to grow, further surgical intervention may be required, although this may not be necessary.
About:
You may remember Mike from posts regarding his considerable health issues and his slow road to being a ‘regular’ kitty.
Cat flu as a small kitten then his eyes (from both congenital and cat flu issues) and his butt from which he suffered ongoing pain were issues that just went on and on and on!! Mike’s bottom issues have resolved finally so the next step was his eyes.
Mike had surgery on his eye last week which for him was the final frontier and a big step to good health and comfort for him. He went through the surgery like the trooper he is and his eye looks so much better and no doubt feels better too!!
Mike, even with the issues he has had, has always been the most affectionate, snuggly kitten now growing into a gorgeous cat. He is such a sweet sweet boy and a rather handsome boy too! He absolutely adores sitting with his human, lying on top of his human and sitting on his human’s lap – you get the picture!
Mike is playful too and will happily play independently or with the other cats in the household including his brother Tre Cool. He adores his food and gets super excited to see his food being prepared and served which he consumes with gusto!
Yes Mike may be deemed less than perfect but he is perfect in all the ways that matter. He is absolutely the sweetest, affectionate, snuggly kitty who has a lot of love to give and he may be perfect for you!

Cat scope: Yes , is gentle and respectful with cats
Dog scope: Yes , must be rehomed with another dog
Child scope: Okay with gentle children who learnt to train and communicate with him. Pepino will possibly be a larger breed dog, so children will need to encourage his training and not allow for jumping etc.
About:
Pepino came into care as a week old baby after being surrendered to a veterinary clinic.
He has been hand raised by one of our foster carers, and is now ready to join his forever home.
Pepino is a very sweet puppy who is progressing with his training very well. He listens, responds, and wants to please his humans.
Pepino is very dependent on the dogs in his foster home, and would not be suited as an only dog. He is currently in a multi dog house hold where his is being taught how to play and have fun, but also stop and leave them alone when he needs to.
He is not a very dominant puppy, more of a little softie. Pepino has grown up with cats, he is gentle with them, and has worked out very quickly that cats are, and will be the boss of the house.
He would also be suitable to a home with gentle children who encouraged and understood his need for ongoing training.
We are unsure what size Pepino will mature to, he has slowed down a little with growth so we are anticipating him getting to a 25kg staffy size.
However due to us not knowing his father’s breed, he may end up being smaller or larger.
Pepino will come with a desexing contract and his new owners must agree to have him desexed at one of our partner vets when he turns 12 months old, BFF will cover this cost

This handsome boy is a quiet soul who prefers to take his time getting to know people.
Naturally shy and cautious, he’s still learning to trust humans, but he is making wonderful progress in foster care.
While he isn’t a lap cat just yet, he has started choosing to spend time in the same room as his people, watching from a safe distance and growing more curious every day. He will accept gentle pats on his own terms and rewards patience with small but meaningful moments of trust.
What he lacks in confidence, he makes up for in playfulness. He loves chasing toys, exploring, and showing off his fun-loving side. He is also fantastic with other cats and would thrive in a home with a friendly feline companion.
This sweet boy is looking for a patient family who will let him settle in at his own pace and celebrate the little victories as his confidence continues to grow.

Rhianna is a sweet little tabby and white kitten with a hint of caramel on her face and paws.
She is generally quiet for a kitten her age, loving to laze about and accept gentle pats.
However, when it comes to play time with her brother, Benson, Rhianna’s spark comes alive! She loves to wrestle, chase and climb with her much bigger brother.
Because of her more reserved nature Rhianna would do best in a house with adults or older children.
She will need patient owners who give her space to grow into the beautiful cat she’s destined to be.

Stevie and Nyx are a truly special pair of sisters looking for a home together.
Born into an accidental litter, these girls have been side by side since day one. Their owner lovingly raised them from birth, and it shows in every cuddle, purr, and affectionate head bump they share. Having grown up together, they are deeply bonded and bring out the very best in one another.
At first glance, Stevie and Nyx look almost identical, but spend a little time with them and you’ll quickly discover two wonderfully unique personalities.
Stevie is pure sunshine in cat form. Confident, affectionate, and full of enthusiasm, she’s the ultimate morning companion. Stevie starts every day with a mission: finding cuddles. Whether she’s curled up beside you, perched on your lap, or gently demanding attention, she loves being close to her people and isn’t shy about asking for extra affection. Her happy, outgoing nature makes her impossible not to adore.
Nyx is Stevie’s perfect counterpart. While Stevie owns the mornings, Nyx shines in the evenings. After a long day, she’ll be the first to greet you at the door, ready to settle in beside you and help you unwind with her deep, contented purrs. Nyx is a little more reserved when meeting new people, but once she feels comfortable, her gentle and loving personality truly blossoms. She’s the softer, more nurturing sister, often accepting of other cats and always happy to offer a loving grooming session to those she trusts.
Together, these girls are everything you could want in feline companions. They are incredibly affectionate, love a good snuggle, and would be delighted to claim a small corner of your bed each night. They also enjoy playtime and toys, though they’re equally capable of entertaining themselves when you’re busy.
Stevie and Nyx share a beautiful bond and would love nothing more than to find a forever home together. They are thick as thieves, best friends in every sense of the word, and the ultimate cuddle duo. If you’re looking for two loving companions who will fill your home with warmth, comfort, and endless affection, Stevie and Nyx are waiting to meet you.

Dog scope: Unknown but likely fine with slow introductions Child scope:Unknown but likely fine with gentle hands
Medical note: His right eye has significant and extensive symblepharon – this is where the conjunctiva of the eye has grown over his whole cornea/stuck down due to damage of the eye when he had cat flu. This can not be removed unfortunately. He seems comfortable though so enucleation is likely not required. He can probably see some light and shadows out of this eye. His left eye has a cluster of persistent pupillary membranes that are growing from the iris to the cornea at the lateral (outer) part of his eye. This has created a large white scar on his cornea. This change is permanent, however should be non painful and non progressive. It is a developmental/congenital issue. He also has some minor symblepharon (adhesions) between his third eyelid and conjunctiva and the very edge of his cornea.Regular lubication with artificial tears is recommended for Trecool and will be lifelong to help assist with comfort with the symptoms.
About:
Tre Cool is a kitten that sadly is likely deemed ‘less than perfect’ with his eye issues.
His eyes though do not bother him at all and he is just as sweet, playful and adorable as any other kitten. While he has limited sight you would never know it as he tears around the house at a hundred miles an hour!
Tre Cool is an absolute sweetheart and a super snuggly boy that loves to sit on your lap, lie beside you and be near you. When not with you if you call him you’ll often hear a trill followed by Tre Cool coming to you.
Tre Cool is an active kitten who loves to play both independently and with his brother Mike, loves to jump, climb up the screen door (which we are working on getting him to stop!) and tear around like only a kitten does! He is a delightful boy.
Tre Cool adores food and eats very well! He is a super sweet and very active, happy kitten in spite of his eyes. The eye lubricant he requires is easy to apply and Tre Cool is very used to it.
