About:
Indigo was 1 of 11 cats we took from 1 household, with 5 of the 8 females being pregnant. She has raised her kittens safely in care, where she raised her babies with 2 other family memembers who would help to co-feed all 11 babies from 3 mummas. Babies are now weaned and independent, so she is now look for her forever family.
Out of the 3 mumma cats who were in care together, Indigo was the most timid, and would hide in the corners of the room trying to be “invisible”. After a couple of weeks of patience and soft pats and kind words, Indigo finally realised that she was safe and become more confidence. She can still revert back to being timid when she meets people for the first time, but we know once she adjusts to her new people and surroundings she is an amazing sweet loving girl.
Now that her babies have left care, Indigo is starting to act like the young cat that she is, and loves to play with cat toys, and it’s heart warming seeing her be happy and care free.
Indigo is used to living with other cats, and we feel she would do better in a home with at least 1 other cat as a companion for her. She like to smooch and sleep with her feline friend. She is particularly close to one of the other mummas who she raised her babies with (Lilac). She doesn’t have to be adopted with Lilac, but if you are looking to adopt two beautiful cats, then Lilac and Indigo would be perfect together.
