Ariana – Female DSH

This gorgeous tabby trills to let you know she wants attention, love cheek rubs. She loves being near you, even if that means disappearing under a blanket or towel for hours at a time while still keeping tabs on her favourite person.

 

Playtime is serious business for Ari – ribbons or anything that drags along the ground is a moving target that she attacks with gusto.

 

When she is in full play attack mode, it takes a moment for her to get back into calm patting mode. Never aggressive, she does become very excited and takes a moment to get, but a savvy cat owner will recognise if she is in play or pat mode.

 

We think that young children may be a bit overwhelming for her, but she should be OK for older children who know when she wants affection or wants a moment to herself.

 

Ari currently doesn’t love being around other cats. She’s keeping her distance and voicing her opinions about her foster carer’s resident kitties. However, with increased spaces of her own, she has become more comfortable.

 

At this stage we aren’t sure if she would ultimately prefer to be her human’s one and only kitty or if she will adjust to fur friends with a well-planned and slow introduction.
