Medical Note: Maisie had cat flu when she arrived in care. Although she is now healthy it may flare up again in times of stress such as being in a new home, moving houses and vaccinations.

About:
Maisie came from a less than ideal situation and had spent most of her life in a cage with minimal handling. Considering her background she has come a long way since being in foster care and loves snuggling up with her foster mum and playing with her foster siblings and her toys. She may be 2 but she runs around like a kitten, chasing her crinkle balls and springs and doing zoomies. During the day, like most cats, she enjoys snoozing in the sun.
Her foster siblings are both seniors, though young at heart, but Maisie would do well with a younger kitty to play and be silly with.
Surprisingly Maisie has pretty good manners but she is still very kittenish when it comes to exploring her boundaries eg gently testing things with her teeth, being politely pushy checking out what the humans are eating etc However she responds really well to a gentle “uh uh” to let her know that it is undesirable behaviour.
Maisie needs a calm, patient human who will continue to work with her to build her confidence, especially in regards to meeting new people and being handled. She is such a sweet girl and once she trusts someone she lays on the love pretty thickly 😊

Marie came into our care from a hoarding situation, she was very skinny and had a litter of kittens in tow. The product of such unfortunate circumstances, Marie is quite timid around new people and will need time to adjust to her new surroundings. It took Marie a few months to become comfortable with accepting pats from her foster family, but even though she’s not quite sure how she feels about humans at the start, once she trusts you she will come when you call her and snuggle up in bed with you at night.

Marie loves to play with toys so can be a lively little cat once she gets going, but will happily snooze on your bed in the sun all day as well. She is currently living with two large dogs who have grown up around cats, she will happily play with them but will stand her ground if she’s had enough.

Marie also loves kids! She would love to snuggle up to gentle children, and follow them around the house while they play. Named after Ms Curie, Marie has a lot of love to radiate to the right person. This little lady, like her musical namesake is one pretty cool cat. She loves spending her days chilling out, looking out windows, watching the world go by.

She likes meeting new people and sidles up quickly for one of her favourite things in the world, a head scratch. In the evenings her favourite spots are by her human on the lounge or curled up at the end of the bed. Marley hasn’t shown much interest in laps, but with summer coming, who needs a lap warmer anyway. She does though love being nearby and will reward you with the sweetest little meow, or a lovely loud purr.

Marley is learning the wonders of play and has quite a workout chasing toys on sticks. She’ll often roll over to show her beautiful belly, but don’t fall into the trap of thinking she wants a belly rub, it’s her favourite game, grabbing any unsuspecting hand (gently of course).

Sweet Matilda is a gentle soul who is living the high life with her siblings.

Matilda’s appearance has changed over time since she was about 6 months old. She was born black just like her siblings but she is now brown and her fur has lost it’s nice glossy sheen. At the moment she is trialling a special prescription diet to improve her skin and coat health.

Maui is a beautiful British Short hair kitty, who sadly lost her eyesight when she was just a small kitten, so has been blind pretty much her entire life (she has had a double Enucleation, so both eyes have been removed and sewed shut). As you can imagine she is tentative with new people and new places until she has gathered her bearings. She will be stand-offish with people when she first meets them, but if you give her time and love to know she’s safe in her new environment, she will start to follow you around like a puppy and sit near you on the couch.

Blind cats are magical creatures and will surprise you every single day with their resilence and how well they navigate their way around. Maui has only lived in single level dwellings so that would be the most ideal home for her, however a home with internal stairs would be considered in the right circumstances.

Maui hasn’t learnt how to play yet, and when she first arrived into care she was scared of her own shadow, but she has come such a long way in such a short time and now seeks out attention from her humans.

Maui does need a special home with humans who are prepared to be patient with her while she adjusts to her new surroundings and her new humans, but if you are prepared to give her this time, you won’t be sorry because she is simply beyond perfection.

Mocha had a rough start and came into care a very scared little guy. With lots of love, affection and good food Mocha has settled in well to foster care.

Due to his rough start, Mocha will still startle easily when strangers come to the house or when there are loud noises but with time, once he knows you, he will happily accept chin scratches, snuggles and food!

Mocha has lovely tabby markings and striking green eyes and is affectionately known as Mr Handsome at his foster house. He is also very good with cat savvy children and actually warms to them quicker than adults.

Mocha is a very chatty boy and will call out to you if he cannot find you or his furry sibling, or you are behind a closed door!

He is not a big fan of being picked up and will only let allow his 10 year old foster brother pick him up but Mocha loves to always to be nearby his humans. Miss Mouse is a gorgeous and petite little grey and white tabby girl who has come so far since being in foster care. When we first met her, she would cower in a corner and did not trust humans at all. With months of patience and love, Miss Mouse has slowly started coming out of her shell and showing off her true nature.

Despite making significant progress with socialising, Mouse is not a lap cat or one to crave the attention and affection of her humans. Mouse will coexist very happily with her humans, and enjoys spending time curled up on the end of the bed and watching you as you go about your day. Extra special humans may get to pat Miss Mouse, or may even get an elusive head bop, but this comes with time and trust. Miss Mouse does however, respond to food and treats and this will aid with her progress.

Nacho came in with severe gum infection affecting her teeth, with this her teeth were all removed, so she is a gummy girl, but hasn’t affected her eating habits.

Little Miss Curiosity loves to follow her foster careers everywhere, checking out what they are up to. Nacho needs to be sure she is not missing out on any fun! She loves to play, chasing her favourite balls and toy fish around.

When Nacho is done exploring and playing, she will curl up somewhere close by, next to her foster careers on the couch or near their feet.

Nacho currently lives with older children and loves to be carried around and play but finds little humans a little too unpredictable. She would be best suited to a household with older children.

Nacho loves the other cats she lives with and would love another friend to play with but would also be happy as an only cat where she gets all the attention.

Oliver is a true fairy-tale story. This boy is such a kind, sweet boy who has learnt that being playful is what the life of a cat is all about. Having humans that love you and nurture who is part of how life should be. Oliver has been on an amazing journey with us and we are truly happy that we have seen him flourish to the beautiful boy he is today!

When Oliver first arrived you could see the terror in his eyes. There was nothing sadder than seeing how much he didn’t trust humans. My guess is that he had a pretty awful beginning in life and the behaviour he learned around humans was to be aware and alert. Having said this, at no time has Oliver ever tried to lash out EVER. He was always destined to be a lover and not a fighter, but sadly this meant that the first few months that he stayed with us, meant that we couldn’t get close enough to even show him that we were decent humans, which truly broke my heart. Thank goodness for the other cats (both perm and fosters) who came to his rescue and showed him how life could be.

Over time, Oliver watched how we interacted with all the other cats and slowly took very tiny chances on us. First, he’d stay in the same room as us… next, he’d eat food whilst we stood nearby, and slowly as the weeks passed, I ventured in… and stole a very QUICK pat from him whilst he was eating! OMG the look on his face!!! “What the heck was that?” I’m pretty sure that’s exactly what he was saying, as I could see he was definitely taken by surprise, but equally delighted with something he had NEVER experienced before… love in the form of a pat!

Over time, this became our ritual, Oliver eats food, we pat and walk away… fast forward to today, where… wait for it… Oliver now comes to us for a pat, in fact… Oliver flops over in front of us, purring his head off! Oliver is truly enjoying the affection and I can see that we are only at the beginning of Oliver’s human affection journey!

If there is one cat you want to take a chance on… come meet Oliver. And did I mention that to my absolutely delight, Oliver has the silkiest of fur, with the most awesome markings on his body. He truly is a special boy, in so many ways.

Olympia is a stunning young Calico who came into care heavily pregnant. Her kittens are all grown and found their homes, so now it’s time for this young mama to find one of her own.
She’s a little shy, but when you sit down with her, give her time and get to know her, she’ll come around for some pats. Head rubs and bottom scratches are her absolute favorites, and you’ll quickly have a friend.
As she’s settled in, Olympia has started to show her cheeky. Plating her dinner on the bench? tap tap. Going up the stairs when she’s sitting underneath? tap tap. or just because she’s feeling extra cheeky and playful? Tap Tap! Olympia gives the softest little taps to the back or side of your ankle, which we think is rather cute and we can’t wait to see her more of her cheeky side as her confidence grows.
Olympia was rather shy of the other animals at first, but settled in quickly and made friends with the other young foster in her house, and loves doing the occasional zoomie session together. She’s still not a fan of the resident large dog, but is now ok to ignore/avoid it

This exotically, handsome boy is super sweet, gentle and attentive, excelling in his role as foster big brother to 3 orphan kittens. Oz is always there to check in with you and see how you’re going and flop at your feet. He’s happy to be picked up and smothered in kisses but you won’t be able to pin him down for long before he’s off on his next playtime adventure. He loves, really loves to run and jump and climb. Medical note: Paris has been treated for FIP and has made a full recovery .

Paris is finally ready to start searching for her forever family after coming across multiple hurdles since joining rescue. Paris came from a less than ideal hoarding situation, and was in very poor condition when she entered rescue. She then became unwell and was diagnosed with neurological FIP (Feline Infections Peritonitis). For months Paris was treated for this and went into remission at the end of her treatment. Sadly shortly after this she relapsed and had to be treated a second time for the FIP. Paris was cleared for remission again in 07/2023 and was finally able to start her routine vetwork (desexing and vaccinations) whilst she stayed in foster care for another several months of monitoring.

Paris has now been cleared for adoption, and is ready to find herself a forever family.

Paris is a sweet natured girl who is affectionate and loving, but also enjoys her own relaxation time. She spends most of her day sleeping in her outdoor enclosure, and runs straight inside when she hears that it is time for her dinner. She would suit a relaxed home who is looking for a cat to snooze and watch a movie with you, she’s the perfect relaxed companion cat! Paris would be suitable in a home with older teenage children who understood that she isn’t a cat who wants to run around playing with toys or be picked up and carried around. She would love a comfy spot on the end of your bed where the chin tickles are flowing.

Paris lives in a multi cat household and is perfectly fine with her foster friends. She will occasionally wrestle with her younger, more silly friends, however she normally spends most of her time just laying near the other cats for company.

Paris prefers dry food, especially the big dental biscuits, and hopes her new family can follow on with her love of her dental biscuits.

About:

Paulie had an awful start to life as an unsocialsed kitten, and was in a very bad way when found. He battled with nasty eye infections and flu for weeks before we got ontop of it. He has an existing injury to his left eye which has left a scar – he doesn’t need any further treatment for this eye, but it does make it look a little odd.

Paulie is very shy with people he hasn’t met before and it does take a little while to earn his trust. However once he gets to know you, he walks around with you constantly chirping at you. He is extremely affectionate & simply loves to sleep on the bed with you and wrap himself around your neck. He is not happy being left on his own & will certainly let you know about it. He is totally fine with the carers gentle medium sized dog although not overly interested.

He likes all other cats in the house & loves cuddles once he trusts you. He’s a very sweet boy. Just needs a little time with patient people. Will make an amazing companion as he just loves hanging out with you.

Paulie will make a great addition to your home once he finds the right person to take a chance on him.
