About:
Ceres came into care as a very sick kitten half the size she should’ve been, but with some proper TLC she has turned into the most gorgeous spunky little girl.
Ceres loves attention and is often eager for pats and snuggles and happy to curl up with you for a nap, even inserting herself into your arms sometimes.
But she’s not super needy and is also happy to find her own quiet nap spot by herself or with a kitty friend. Ceres loves having a kitty friend and rough housing and wrestling, zooming and pouncing with them.
She’s also been known to get her friend to groom her – she’ll give them a lick or two of grooming back but prefers to be treated like the pampered princess she knows she is and just be groomed by her kitty friend rather than it being truly mutual grooming of each other.
Ceres loves her food, and is often a ravenous little kitten when dinner time arrives, but has earned the lovingly given nickname “goldfish” as she can also be easily distracted during meal times – oooh what food does that kitty have? what ‘s going on over there? – but is eager again for her food once it’s pointed out there is a bowl in front of her.
Ceres is untested with children, but would likely do well with them, but would be best suited to cat-savvy or older kids as she can sometimes be a little sharp with her claws/teeth when playing and overexcited and is still learning to be gentle, though she is never mean.
Please note: As all our cats live in foster homes, a completed Meet & Greet application is required before we can arrange a visit- meet’n’greet form.
