Snuggle scope: Super smoochy but prefers her feet to stay on the ground
Cat scope: Was bullied by other cats in her previous home. Is tentative but not aggressive with other cats in her foster home. Would prefer a home with no other cats, or perhaps 1 placid cat
Dog scope: Happy to ignore the small dog in her foster home
Child scope: Untested. Would be OK with respectful children
Medical note: Nala has been diagnosed with glaucoma, which is not very common cats. She has recently seen an eye specialist, so has said that at this stage the glaucoma is very mild, and the pressure in her eyes in on the high end of normal. No treatment is needed at this stage, however they recommend she has the pressure tested every 3 months (this can be done at a normal vet if they have the right equipment).

Nala is a stunning Lilac British Short Hair which the most gorgeous chubby cheeks that is well known with this breed of cats. She is super sweet and smoochy, and as soon as you call her name she responds with a meow waiting for the pat, which she will push her head into to make the most of the pat. She absolutely adores attention, however she isn’t a fan of being picked up, preferring her 4 feet on the floor – but don’t let this put you off, she will happily come and sit by you on the couch smothering you with love.
Nala was bullied in her previous home, and is currently living in a multi cat home. While there is zero aggression from her towards the other cats, she is a little on edge around them, and seeks out quiet places away from them to snooze away. Ideally she would prefer to be the only princess in the home, or she could potentially be OK with 1 other cat if they were non dominant.
Nala was diagnosed with glaucoma 2 years ago. It hasn’t progressed during this time, and currently doesn’t need any medication, however it was recommended by the specialist to get the pressure tested in her eyes every 3 months (this can be done by a normal vet if they have the right equipment). We are unsure how this condition will progress because there are so many variables – she could continue her entire life with no treatment needed, or she could need specialist intervention at some stage in her life – unfortunately there is no way to tell.
This does mean however that she needs a special owner that is dedicated to her health and will commit to the 3 monthly tests she needs, and is prepared to cover any treatment that may be needed in the future.
This sweet girl has already been surrendered once before, so we need to find her a stable home where she will be cherished for the rest of her life. She is the sweetest girl, so anyone who meets her is guaranteed to be smitten by her.
