Medical Note: Tali was born with a club foot affecting one hind leg. With early splinting and physiotherapy, it has corrected extremely well and now has near-normal function. No ongoing treatment is required, and it is not expected to cause any long-term issues. She was also born without the last bone in her back paws, meaning her back feet are slightly shorter and she doesn’t have nails on those two paws (bonus: fewer nails to trim!). This does not cause her any discomfort and isn’t expected to create problems in the future.
About:
Tali is one of our very special care girls – she’s petite, resilient, and full of quiet strength.
A sweet, grey tabby girl with a born with unusual back feet, she does not have back claws and her hind legs are not as strong as other kittens.
Despite this, she has gained rapid ground and built mobility, confidence, and agility in her own time, learning how to navigate the world in a way that works for her.
She has always been tiny, with big expressive eyes and a small frame, she’s been behind developmentally but with a lot of love and care she is slowly catching up.
Today, she is light, lithe, and wonderfully affectionate. While she can be timid around loud noises and may take a moment to feel safe with new people, she has truly blossomed in care and now loves cuddles, being picked up, and snuggling close beside her people.
Tali may not jump and climb with the same ease as other kittens, but that doesn’t stop her from finding her favourite cozy places – many of them up high!
She loves the top of the cat tower and the window hammock, and can also be found making biscuits in fluffy bath mats or carpets, or curling up beside her human while they work. She thrives in calm, nurturing environments where she is understood and supported.
This sweet girl has overcome more in her short life than most, and she carries it with grace. Tali deserves a gentle, patient home that sees her not for what makes her different, but for the extraordinary little soul she is.
Please note: As all our cats live in foster homes, a completed Meet & Greet application is required before we can arrange a visit. Apply today – meet’n’greet form.
