Rex might look like a tiny panther with his sleek, shiny black coat, but underneath that majestic exterior is the softest, sweetest soul you’ll ever meet.
 
Rex came into care with his six siblings after surviving the tough life of living rough, relying on the kindness of a gentleman who fed them.
 
Despite his rough start and a battle with cat flu and severe conjunctivitis that left some scarring on one eye, Rex has bounced back with incredible resilience. His eye has improved greatly and may continue to heal, but even if it doesn’t fully recover, it certainly doesn’t slow him down or dim his playful spirit. We think it just adds so much character to this brave little smooch.
 
What makes Rex truly special is his gentle nature. Although he likely had little to no human contact before rescue, he was instantly trusting-accepting pats, flopping over for belly rubs and purring so loud he could be heard from across the room! He’s the calmest and most cautious of his siblings, but once he’s comfortable, he loves to play, snuggle, and charm everyone around him with his affectionate ways.
