Elaine – Female DSH

 

Elaine came into care earlier this year, already pregnant, having been left out on the streets to fend for herself.

 

From her first day in care, however, she exceeded expectations with trusting humans and happily alternated her time between ear scritches, enjoying gravy-laden food, and being told what a pretty girl she is.

 

Now that her babies have grown and been adopted, Elaine now faces the challenge of finding her own forever family.

 

She interacts well with kittens and less-dominant household cats; with correct introductions she has even been ingratiating herself with the resident Queen Cat.

 

Elaine would suit a variety of households, the most important factor would be to give her time to become accustomed to her new environment. A quiet home with few other cats would be ideal; especially if that home were to offer a tasty tidbit from time to time for this highly food-motivated mama.

 

Elaine has a deep diesel engine-like purr and is a huge fan of being carried about up on your shoulder and having conversation as she stares deep into your eyes.
