Meet Alicent, a stunning dark torbi with a soft, expressive gaze and an even softer heart.

This beautiful girl came into care with two kittens already in tow—and pregnant once again. She’s since raised five more babies in care and now it’s finally her turn to be loved.

Alicent has done an incredible job as a mum, and now she’s learning how to enjoy life as a cat in her own right.

She currently lives in a multi-cat home, which she finds a bit overwhelming at times, so she’d be happiest as a solo cat or with one or two calm feline companions. She also lives with a small dog, who she politely ignores.

While Alicent can be a little unsure when meeting new people, with a little patience and kindness, she truly blossoms. Once she trusts you, she becomes incredibly affectionate—a loyal snuggler and an excellent bed buddy.

About:

Rags to Riches is the best way to describe Andy – he entered care in a deplorable state and there has been blood, sweat and tears to get him to where he is today – he may not be perfect but he is pretty awesome.

Andy can be moody – if the moon isn’t in the right phase, if the neighbour had cereal for dinner last night or if you happen to look at him for 14 seconds instead of 12, he will wander off grumbling to himself or give you a whack with his paw.

He will recline in the lounge and give you “the look” – you know the one. Another thing to note, Andy is STRONG! Andy also enjoys being a trash panda – and will steal things out of the bin at any chance he gets.

Speaking of grooming, Andy’s hair is unlike anything you have felt before. It has improved a million times over from what it was like when he came into care, but does require grooming which helps it stay reasonably manageable.

It does have a tendency to mat, so adopters need to be prepared for grooming costs as DYI grooming will result in multiple whacks and loud grumbles. He also isn’t a fan of having his eyes wiped clean, but this is a necessary part of his grooming.

Blaze is an old soul in a little kitten’s body and this handsome little house panther is fully black with some underlying stripes that shine in the sun.

Found by a good Samaritan after being dumped, Blaze was the last of his litter to be found so he was on his own for a while – this means he is a bit slow to trust but once he does then he is your best buddy rewarding you with loud purrs.

If he can’t see you and he knows that you are about he will call for you.

Toys and wresting with his siblings are his favourite thing to do.

He is a big foodie and will loudly complain if you are late or slow with his meals.

Boo might have had a rough start to life, but you’d never guess it by the way she zooms around with curiosity and confidence.

This playful, mischievous girl is full of life, love, and a touch of cheeky charm that’s guaranteed to make you smile.

Boo came into care with six other kittens after living rough, surviving thanks to the kindness of a gentleman who made sure they were fed.

She was battling cat flu and conjunctivitis so severe that it caused scarring in one eye. While her eye has improved a lot and may continue to heal, it will likely always carry a small reminder of her journey. But don’t worry-Boo certainly doesn’t let it slow her down!

Despite likely never having human contact before rescue, Boo was quick to accept pats and has since blossomed into a confident, affectionate kitten. She loves to play, explore, and do zoomies around the house but is also happy to settle down for a cuddle or a few gentle strokes.

Boots came into care with his sister, both as unsocialised kittens, so was a complete scaredy.

Since that time, he has made tremendous progress and now loves bedtime scratches, pats and cuddles from his carer. He is a handsome young man with striking stripes (almost like a cross between a tiger & zebra).

He absolutely adores his foster carer’s other cats and being around them seems to help build his trust of humans so he would love a home with a calm, gentle feline to help his confidence.

He is still quite skittish with strangers and gets scared if they approach him; he prefers to be given space to get to know and trust new humans and to approach them when he feels safe.

His carer has been working on building his confidence with new people, and he improves every day. When her fur siblings sit next to their carer, Bubbles has gotten more confident to be near them and even joining them.

came into care with her brother and at first she was the more timid of the two, scared of everything.

Fast forward six months and her brother being adopted, and this little lady came right out of her shell, zoomed across the loungeroom and declared ‘I’M HERE!!’.

Cecilie has the most gorgeous personality. A glorious mix between being the first to meet you at the door when you come home after work, flopping on the floor wanting belly rubs, purring her heart out and giving you kisses to wake you in the morning, and zooming around the house like a complete lunatic.

She likes to recharge with snoozes on her blankie on the couch and flopping beside her carer to watch TV. Then when she’s at full battery she’s off on her next adventure, chasing the foster kittens and their adopted big brothers and making her own fun in her favourite toy – the Kmart cat tunnel.

Cecilie might be a little loose but never nasty. There’s nothing but love behind those stunning orange and green eyes, although with a solid dash of the crazy. But we love that in a cat!

Cecilie took a little while to warm to her new kitten younger siblings but they’re now the best of friends. She’s still a little fearful of humans other than her carer which is at odds with her otherwise boisterous personality – but she’s definitely making wonderful progress and now peeks around the corner to see who’s come for a visit.

Clary is a beautiful tabby girl with a tender heart and a past that left her terrified of people. When she first came into care, she had had little to no human interaction and was completely petrified.

With time, patience, and gentle consistency, Clary has made quiet but meaningful progress. She now comes to her carer willingly, accepts treats, and allows pats — especially head rubs, which she is slowly learning to enjoy more each day.

Clary is very clear about her boundaries. Every interaction must be on her terms. When she’s had enough, she’ll let you know by walking away or giving a gentle, claw-free swat. She isn’t being unkind — she’s communicating the only way she knows how.

Despite her fear, Clary seeks closeness in her own way. She loves sleeping on the bed with her human, snuggling right beside you, rubbing herself against you, and simply being near — even if she doesn’t yet want hands on her all the time. That trust alone is huge for a cat like Clary.

She follows her human at mealtimes, knows exactly when it’s food time, and grows more confident with each passing day. With someone who is home more often, we truly believe Clary’s confidence will continue to blossom.

Clary would thrive in a quiet, adult-only home, ideally with someone patient and experienced with shy cats. She may be okay with one very placid cat, but dogs are a definite no — she finds them frightening and reacts defensively.

About:

Colby came into care as an unsocialised kitten who had zero trust in humans.

He has been a work in progress and he is now learning that humans mean him no harm, Colby still needs a human who can give him the time and space to trust in a new environment.

Colby is still a bit fearful of “the approach”, and will mostly run when you try to approach him from above but when he is snoozing or laying peacefully he loves a belly rub and chin scratch and will purr and roll around enjoying the attention.

Recently he has been known to approach his foster mum when she is reading quietly or watching TV for pats and will even start making biscuits on mums lap or the small blanket on the couch.

Although Colby happily lives in quite a noisy household, some loud or foreign noises still send him running to hide.

Colby LOVES other cats, and tries to make friends with all the cats in his foster home. I believe Colby needs a home where there is another confident social cat friendly cat that he can play with and chase around the house like he does with his foster brother Mocha.

Despite his valiant attempts to use the litter tray, he does have some incontinence issues.

There is so much to say about Dublin, that it is hard to put into words. This absolute sweet boy has had many challenges thrown his way since arriving into care in very poor condition.

Yet what stands out about Dublin is his beautiful and funny quirks. He has so much love to give and will often come and cuddle up on a lap, or spend time watching his carers earn money to buy him some lovely food. Speaking of food – this is Dublins FAVOURITE thing! He has zero manners and will do anything to get a bit of what you are eating.

He loves other cats, so much so he earned the nickname “Pappa Dubs” as would help look after the kittens in his foster home. He is shy at first in regard to new people, but once you know this sweet boy he will be an amazing companion.
